Church picinic

We had a fun Saturday. Breakfast was great and the park was fun. No one caught a fish, but I hear that there was an intense game of disk golf!

We are trying to decide if the members site is something beneficial. Since we are a small group, it could be overkill and not really worth the effort to maintain. Be sure to take the poll on the members site and send an email with thoughts or suggestions.

Missions Conference audio

We had one of the best Faith Promise missions ever! The Audio is now on the members site.

John and Romans Update

5000 John and Romans are on their way! In the last post we did not know how much shipping was. The total we need to give them(with a little love offering) is $800. The offering box is the place to give your offering for this.

No Bible class 2/19

Because of the missions conferece, we will not have Bible class on the 19th.

John and Romans

We are getting low on John and Romans. When we order them they are 10 cents each. If you would like to contribute, there is a box in the Sanctuary.

Pastor Taylor is ordering 5000 that will cost the church about $500.

Our visitation pack consists of one J&R, a church brochure, a letter "special message' that tells the purpose of the pack and a tract. We now have three groups on visitation, those that hang, those that knock and some stay and prepare packet for the next week. Any member can have a part in getting the next 5000 to our JeruSanAntoniolem.

Bible Class

Feb 12
The Tuesday Bible class subject was on the Inspiration of the Scriptures. The attendance was down this week. It is never to late to start.

Remember to pray for this class and Pastor. I believe it is KEY to our Christian growth.

Bible class 1/29/08

2Ti 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Faith was the subject of the second TNBC (Tuesday Night Bible class). We had about 29 that attended. Remember to keep Pastor Taylor in prayer. Not only has extra work to prepare for this class, but we know the devil will oppose it also! He will also try to keep us from coming also.

First Bible Class of 08!

The first Tuesday night Bible class of 2008 got off to a great start. There were 26 that attended. Ed brought the donuts(a very important part). Pastor taught on Salvation. The very best place to start.
Just one more opportunity that the Lord has given us to grow in the grace and knowledge of HIM!

John and Romans

Thursday (17th) we got together and assembled John and Romans packets for soul-winning/visitation. We had about 18 folks show up. We had a great time in the Lord. We had hotdogs, chili, chicken, cookies and cake. A very Baptist meeting!

As of the 17th we have almost 3000 John and Romans left.
This saturday we will be putting these packets on as many doors as possible. This would be a great time to come and join us in getting The Word out. Use the e-mail form if you have any questions about the visitation program.

Special note: Remember that the more we hand out, the more it cost the Church. Time and money, don't forget to give both.
